Mary Ann Kight

TUCSON — Mary Ann Kight, 83, of Tucson died on Feb. 20, 2011, at home.
A private service is planned.
Ms. Kight was born on Sept. 8, 1927, in Fairmont, W.Va to Lawrence and Olga King Alkire. She was a professor at the University of Arizona and taught biochemistry and human nutrition for 40 years.
Survivors include son; Tyler W. Kight of Auburn, WA, Brother; James Alkire of Tucson, AZ; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Harry Kight Sr., and son, Harry Kight Jr.
