ELOY — Mary Ann Beddo Shumann, 70, of Queen Creek died on June 12, 2010, at Chula Vista Care Center in Mesa.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy. The service of remembrance will follow at 10. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Ms. Shumann was born on Aug. 12, 1939, in Davis Valley, Okla., and was a daughter of Edward and Dollie Beddo. She worked for Motorola. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and reading. She was an Arizona Cherry Pie Champion in 1958 and was treasurer of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Chandler.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Allsopp of Queen Creek; a son, Mark E. Deneault of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Judy Beddo of Casa Grande; a brother, T.J. Hawkins of Wellton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Gideon, and a brother, Edward Beddo.
