Mary Antone

GILA BEND — Mary Anita Antone, 72, died on May 23, 2012, at Hospice of the Valley, Palm Valley Palliative Care Unit in Goodyear.
An all-day service will begin at noon Saturday at the Antone home, with Pastor Catherine Pilone officiating.
Mrs. Antone was born on Nov. 3, 1939, in Ajo and was a daughter of Angelina and Alonzo Puffer. She was a homemaker and basket weaver. She loved her church, her family and friends and sharing what she believed in. Her favorite pastime was playing casino slot machines.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Anemo Antone Sr.; two daughters, Charlotte Randall of Gila Bend and Carol Manuel of Maricopa; six sons, Adam, Davin and Michael Antone and Daniel Puffer, all of Gila Bend, Calvin Antone of Gu Vo Village and John Cadavas of Phoenix; a sister, Daisy Puffer of Coolidge; three brothers, Joe Puffer of Ajo, Lawrence Puffer of Hickiwan Village and James Puffer of Avondale; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Anemo Antone Jr., and two brothers, William and George Puffer Sr.
