Mary Findlay

Mary Leoma Findlay, 78, of Arizona City died on July 2, 2018, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.

Mrs. Findlay was born on Oct. 31, 1939, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Willis and Juanita (Lester) Sawyer. She married Glenn L. Findlay on June 8, 1958, and celebrated 60 years together this year.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Arizona City Ward. She served in several positions throughout her life in the church as well as being a member of the Relief Society women's organization. She was an avid genealogist and loved working on family history. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Douglas Findlay; a daughter, Rebecca Findlay; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial service at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 16, at the LDS Casa Grande Stake Center.
