Mary L. Pablo, aged 70, passed away on February 15. She was born in Sells on February 27, 1953, to Anita Pablo and Francisco Lopez.
Mary devoted her life to education as a teacher at Blackwater school and also served as a traditional counselor. Her talents extended beyond the classroom as she was known for her skill in basket weaving and traditional singing. Mary had a special place in her heart for her feline companions.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara White, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, three children - Candi, Marvina, and Lawrence White Jr., as well as one sister, Juanita Pablo.
An all-night wake will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. at the family residence in Bapchule. A funeral service to honor Mary's life will take place on March 17, 2024, from 1-5 p.m., followed by burial at Vah-Ki Cemetery in Bapchule.
