Mary Vowinkle

Mary Alice “Wincey” Vowinkle, 78, of Coolidge, died November 20, 2022, in Tucson, Arizona. Mary was born April 26, 1944, in Crowder, Oklahoma to Robert Burns and Cleo Elizabeth Edwards. Mary was a very loving and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family during gatherings, dinners and especially at family karaoke night. Whether family or not, there was no child that she didn't love. Mary was strong in her faith and loved to attend church. She enjoyed talking and spending time with the ladies from her church and socializing with those who lived near her. She was our family historian, and there was always something or someone you could learn about from her. You could always count on Aunt Wincey to have either a life saver or a scolding, whichever one you needed or deserved in that moment. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the three loves of her life, and her siblings, Dorothy Skinner, Faye Sanders, Brenda Richardson, Bobby Burns, Pete Burns, Allen Burns, Kenneth Burns and Clifford Burns.

She is survived by her sister, Joan Irwin of Coolidge, and many nieces and nephews.
