SANTAN - Monica Perkins, 47, of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community died April 16, 2009 at home.
The rosary service will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Anne's Catholic Mission feast house in Santan, with the wake continuing at 7:30 at her home. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Saturday in Salt River Cemetery.
Mrs. Perkins was born May 5, 1961 in Sacaton. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Robert Perkins of Salt River; two daughters, Diane and Delores Perkins of Salt River; her mother, Marcella Miller of Santan; three sisters, Karen Jose of Chandler Heights, Katherine Miles and Lurleen Jose of Santan; five brothers, Thomas Jose Jr., Darin, Edward and Aaron Jose, all of Santan, and Philbert Jose of Sacaton Flats; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Perkins Jr., and her father, Thomas Jose Sr.
