Matilda Wilson

Matilda Wilson, 76, of Palo Verde Stand, died on August 18, 2023. Ms. Wilson was born on November 11, 1946, to Vincent Domingo and Christine Lopez. 

She was a funny and caring woman who also enjoyed visiting with family and friends.  She would often talk about her life experiences and tell us about her teenage years. She will be missed by all, especially her family.   

She is survived by two daughters Nicholasa and Colleen Miguel, a sister Hilda Garcia; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Phyllis Miguel and a brother Armando Domingo. 

Services will be on Thursday, August 24, 2023, starting at 9 a.m. at St. Francisco Xavier Catholic in Palo Verde Stand. Burial will follow at 5 p.m. at San Luis Cemetery, Tohono O’odham Nation.
