Matthew Alen "Matt" Cattey

TEMPE - Matthew Alan "Matt" Cattey, 46, died peacefully at home on Sept. 16, 2019.

Mr. Cattey was born on March 9, 1973. He was a 1991 graduate of Casa Grande Union High School and attended Phoenix College. He most recently was employed as a fraud investigator for a financial organization.

He enjoyed music, concerts, travel, riding his dirt bike, riding his Harley-Davidson, and camping and fishing with his son. He loved spending time with his family, cooking, drawing and reading. He had a way with words and wrote many beautiful things that he shared with family.

He is survived by a son, Tyler Gage Cattey; his mother, Joyce Cattey; and a sister, Angela Wallace.

Celebration of life beginning at noon on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Ruben Romero Picnic Area at Tempe Beach Park, Mill Avenue and All America Way.
