Matthew Lewis

SACATON — Matthew Marley Lewis, 21, died on Aug. 21, 2011, in Sacaton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center, with a wake beginning at 11 p.m. at the Lewis/Manuel home. The service of remembrance will be at 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ed Meulemans officiating. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.
Mr. Lewis was born on March 27, 1990, in Phoenix. He worked in construction and was known as a fun, witty guy who loved his kids, his bike, his guitar and drums. He loved listening to music, going to family get-togethers and hanging out with friends. He was easy going.
Survivors include his companion, Christine Moyah; two sons, Sidney and Ian Lewis of Sacaton; his parents, Alfred Lewis and Karen Manuel of Bapchule; five sisters, Jordhan Manzanado of Sacaton, Clara Cervantes of Glendale, Erica Manzanado of Casa Grande, Denise Lewis and Andrea Macias of Sacaton; and five brothers, Antonio, Marcos and Christian Cervantes, all of Glendale, Tony Lewis of Sacaton and Gage Manzanado of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Elaine Lewis.
