Maurine Higeman

VALLEY FARMS - Maurine Hilgeman, 88, a longtime Valley Farms resident, died on July 27, 2020, with family at her side.

Mrs. Hilgeman was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, the youngest of five children. She moved to Arizona in 1969.

She was a devout Catholic and member of St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge. She also was a member of many community organizations such as the Coolidge Garden Club, Monday Nighters and Elks and American Legion Auxiliary. She and her husband enjoyed travel and taking grandkids on RV trips.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald "Don," and a son, David. Survivors include two adult children, Donata and Denise; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
