Maxine Clarice Young

CHUICHU — Maxine Clarice Young, 73, of Chuichu died on May 26, 2013, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Bapchule, with rosary recited at 3. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chuichu by the Rev. Bill Minkel. Burial will be early Monday in South Chuichu Cemetery.
Ms. Young was born on Nov. 5, 1939, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Chico Vincente and Edith Pratt. She was a home health caregiver and was friendly. She liked being with friends, traveling, spending time with her family, especially the young children, and going to St. Augustine Church, where she was active with the rosary. She liked to listen to chicken scratch music and watch game shows and movies.
Survivors include three sons, Benjamin Young of Chuichu, Lloyd Young of San Carlos and Kelvin Young of Sacaton; a brother, Frank Vincente of Bapchule; a sister, Loretta Pablo of Sells; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd;a daughter, Regina Murrietta Young; three brothers, Gabriel Vincente, Augustine Vavages and Freddy Hernandez; four sisters, Barbara Smith, Lorianne Jackson, Alicia Vincente and Kathy De La Rosa; and a grandson, Patrick Young.
