COOLIDGE — Maxine Joyce Alphus, 48, of Coolidge died on June 23, 2013.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the family home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Bapchule. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
Ms. Alphus was born on Dec. 21, 1964, in Sacaton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching television, especially “CSI: Miami,” “The Voice” and her favorite soap operas. She also enjoyed shopping and yard sales. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Easbrae and Belen Alphus of Coolidge; a son, David Macias of Coolidge; her mother, Charlotte Alphus of Coolidge; two brothers, Jimmy Alphus and Rolando Gomez Sr. of Coolidge; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Antonio M. Macias Jr.; her father, Harold C. Alphus; and her grandmother Elizabeth Manuel.
