Melba June Burnett

CASA GRANDE - Melba June Burnett, 81, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 16, 2015, at home.

Mrs. Burnett was born on Feb. 7, 1934, in Tabler, Oklahoma, and was a daughter of Otto E. Morin and Ola G. Owens. She was a homemaker and a member of Safford First Assembly of God for 60 years. She also attended Ajo First Assembly of God and Central Heights Pentecostal Church and enjoyed singing in church and teaching Sunday school.

She also enjoyed decorating and was always willing to help the church, friends and family. Most of all she loved her church, family and friends, and her grandson was her pride and joy.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Bill H.; a daughter, Melba "Dawn" Kermode of Casa Grande; a son, Jack Burnett of Prescott Valley; and a grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Burnett, and two brothers, Vern and Harold Morin.
