Melcina Ann Davis

SACATON - Melcina Ann Davis, 33, of Sacaton died on Aug. 6, 2015, at Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Ms. Davis was born on Dec. 16, 1981, in Phoenix. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music and dancing, and loved being on her phone, texting, communicating on Facebook and editing pictures.

Survivors include two daughters, Ysenia Antone and Anaya Marquez of Sacaton; her parents, Gaylan Davis and Edward Jose of Casa Grande; five brothers, Don Davis of Casa Grande, Matthew Pablo of Blackwater, Patrick Thomas Jr. of Cocklebur Village, Marcus and Damian Jose of Santa Rosa Village; and two sisters, Irene and Chrissy Manuel of Sacaton. She was preceded in death by a son, Derek Marquez.
