Melissia Elizabeth Murray

CASA GRANDE - Melissia Elizabeth Murray, 92, died peacefully in Tucson on Jan. 4, 2019.

Mrs. Murray was born on June 28, 1926, in Dustin, Oklahoma, a daughter of William and Cora Kirkendall, and moved to Arizona in the fall of 1943. She was married to Warren G. Harding Murray, who preceded her in death. She led a life of courage, diligence, generosity, tenacity and perseverance. She lived her life for her family, staying involved in all activities.

She was an excellent cook and loved to share her many desserts with her family members. She loved to play cards and spend every spring and fall camping at Roosevelt Lake with her husband and family.

Survivors include a son, Jack Murray; a daughter, Jenny Shaw; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, in Mountain View Cemetery.
