Melvin Casimero "Mel" Morgan

SACATON - Melvin Casimero "Mel" Morgan, 52, of Sacaton died on Oct. 23, 2016.

Mr. Morgan was born on Nov. 8, 1963, in Gallup, New Mexico, to Wilburn and Clara Morgan. He moved to Arizona at an early age and made countless friends. He loved making people laugh and easily brought happiness to others. Bold and adventurous, he enjoyed trips to Mexico and immersed himself in the culture and language. He had wild and fascinating tales for his family about his travels and experiences.

He was fun, daring and loved his family and pet dog, Lupe, dearly. He spent his life the way he wanted to, free and spontaneous.

He is survived by a sister, Emily Justin of Casa Blanca. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wilburn Morgan Jr.

The funeral was held Nov. 5, with Pastor Aaron Johns officiating.
