Melvin Fouts

Melvin Leon "Mel" Fouts, 76, of Arizona City died on Sept. 8, 2011, at Jaidon Manor Casa Grande, AZ. Visitation was from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Rosary was recited there at 10:30. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Martin Martinez. Burial will be Thursday at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, Wyo.
Mr. Fouts was born on April 3, 1935, in Milburn, Okla., to Jack and Minnie Fouts. He was the owner of Arizona City Windshield for 25 years. He loved people, joking and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed raising funds for St. Helen's with catfish fries and other fundraisers.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Judith; a daughter, Tammy Harris of Gillette; a son, Gregory of Loveland, Colo; a brother; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Harris.
