Mercy Rivas

Mercy Rivas, aged 49, from Bapchule, passed away on July 3, 2024. Alongside her, her son Marcus Rivas, aged 27, and her unborn great-grandson Elias Hart also departed. Mercy was born September 19, 1974, in Phoenix to Antonio Rivas and Marjorie Lopez. She was known for her strong work ethic, shying away from overtime. She found joy in baking and had a diverse taste in music. Her humor and affectionate nature endeared her to many; especially her grandchildren for whom she would go to great lengths. Capturing memories through photography, particularly of her grandchildren, brought her immense happiness. Additionally, she was a dedicated Denver Broncos fan.

She is survived by her daughter Sarah Rivas, Margorie James, siblings Tony Lopez, Lester Lopez, Marjorie Williams, and six grandchildren. Mercy is predeceased by her parents.
