Merry Kris Kyyitan

Merry Kris Kyyitan, 55, of Bapchule, Arizona, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Chandler. She was born in Sacaton to Vernon and Imogene Kyyitan on December 16, 1969.

Merry will be remembered as a loving wife, aunt, and friend. Known for her outgoing personality, she dedicated her life to serving her community. Her passion for cooking was evident in the meals she prepared for her loved ones, and she found joy in listening to a diverse range of music. A devoted fan of the Arizona Cardinals, she shared her enthusiasm for the team with those around her. Merry also cherished her beloved animals, whom she considered her children: Jax, Boyi, Nala, Charlie Brown, Kokobean, and Giraffe.

She is survived by her husband, Angelo Lyons. Merry is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Imogene, as well as her siblings, Sheira Mendoza-Kyyitan and Severio Kyyitan.

Her legacy of kindness and community spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
