Mr. Von Haske was born on Nov. 22, 1934, to Gerard C. Haske and Thelma C. Bromwell in Washington, D.C. He was a Navy veteran of the USS Wasp and enjoyed travel, camping and doing word searches.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Von Haske; a son, Michael E. Haske; a sister, Barbara J. Lester; and two grandchildren.
