Michael Ellis

Michael Jerry Ellis passed on March 29, 2023, in Florence, AZ. Michael was born on October 29, 1962, in Torrance, California, to the late Fletcher and Eunice (Perkins) Ellis. Mike at a young age enjoyed all sports and was an Arizona Cardinals fan. He served two years in the Army as a combat Signaler, he received an Army Service Ribbon, Sharpshooter (rifle M16) Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon, and he also enjoyed working for Gila River Indian Community.

Mike is survived by three stepchildren, Rolan, Briana, and Ian: 2sisters, Patricia Romero of Hawaii, Priscilla Espinoza of Blackwater, 4 nephews, 2 nieces, cousins and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Renee Jackson Ellis, parents and three brothers.

Celebration of his life and wake services will be Friday evening, April 14, at District 1 Multipurpose Building in Blackwater, Military Graveside services on Saturday, April 15, at 8am at North Blackwater Cemetery, District One.
