Michael Grappe

Michael "Mike G" Grappe, Jr. passed away February 8, 2012 at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande. He was born April 27, 1972 in Casa Grande.
Michael was an avid sports fan and followed the U of A, New Orleans Saints and Boston Celtics. A free spirited man, he would go anywhere and do anything at the drop of a dime. He loved to hang out with his friends, have cookouts, loved riding his 3 wheeler, and going to parties. Mike would help anyone out when they needed it. He loved his momma and his family. He was funny and had a great sense of humor and was just a cool person to be around. Mike never said a bad word about anyone, and he had a sensitive heart. Mike is survived by his mother, Janiece M. Grappe of Casa Grande; two sisters, Kim Echeverria of Casa Grande and Janelle Burba of Payson, AZ; and one brother, Jaime "J-Dogg" Swigert of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lee Grappe, Sr. and brother, Toby Grappe. A celebration of Michael's life will be held Saturday, February 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Cole & Maud, Mt. View Chapel. Burial will be at Casa Grande Mt. View Cemetery. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud the Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
