Michael "Mike" Shirley

Michael S. "Mike" Shirley, 62, of Casa Grande died peacefully at home on Feb. 20, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Shirley was born in Casa Grande on Aug. 25, 1952. He and his father operated a heavy equipment and salvage business in Casa Grande. He was a proud father of four children, a motorcycle enthusiast and a committed member of the Church of Christ of Casa Grande.

Survivors include three sons and a daughter, Eric, serving in the Army in Hawaii, Chastity of Phoenix, Justin and Jacob of Casa Grande; his parents, Elzie and Lynn Shirley of Casa Grande; a sister, Tanya Haney of Casa Grande; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Kirby Shirley.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ.
