Michael Joseph Salas, 64, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 11, 2013.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. A scripture service will follow at 2.
Mr. Salas was born on Aug. 6, 1949, in Piti, Guam, and was a son of Jose and Margarite Salas. He served in the military and later worked in electronics sales. He loved to play pickleball with his friends and was a prankster, funny, stubborn, joking, obsessive, helpful, caring and loving. He loved to cook and "kick it up a notch" because hot was not hot enough. He loved golf, entertaining and the 49’ers. He was well-liked and romantic toward his fiancee and was known for his smile. He enjoyed going back to visit Guam.
Survivors include his fiancee, Marlyn Mills; a daughter, Kim McBride of Italy; two sons, Michael Salas Jr. of San Clemente, Calif., and Shuan Salas of California; three sisters, Doe Howard and Mary Salas of Casa Grande and June Mefford of Texas; two brothers, Henry Salas of Pine and John Salas of New Jersey; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Salas.
