Mr. Paraschiv was born in Ovidiu, Romania, to Mihai and Niculina Paraschiv.

Survivors include his wife, Yelena; two children, Thomas and Niculina Paraschiv; a sister, Carmen Paraschiv; and his parents.

Graveside memorial service at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 2, in Eloy Memorial Park.
