Mike Moreno was born in Phoenix Arizona to Mike and Victoria Moreno. Mike passed away on June 9th, 2020 at home with loved ones by his side at age 81.
Mr. Moreno worked for Arizona Department of Transportation until he retired in 2001. He then worked at local golf courses up until 2008. He was also a
soccer coach for the City of Casa Grande Soccer League for many years, where he was able to mentor many of the community youth. Mr. Moreno was also an alumni from Arizona State University. Mike loved golf, Arizona State Football, Arizona Cardinals, and most of all, he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Margaret Moreno of Casa Grande, three sons and one daughter and their spouses; Victor (Shannon) Moreno of Casa Grande, Greg (Lisa) Moreno of Virginia, Rita (Chad) Whisenhunt of Casa Grande and Lance (Kirsten) Moreno of Washington; two sisters, Dolores Tapia of Casa Grande and Barbara Escalante of Tucson; 12 grandchildren, Crystal Morales, Michael Moreno, Jacob Moreno, Gabrielle Moreno, Gregory Moreno, Jamie Moreno, Jeffery Vigil, Kendra Alvarez, Aubrey
Whisenhunt, Cole Whisenhunt, Ella Moreno, Maiya Moreno; five great-grandchildren, Liam Morales,
Mara Morales, Boston Moreno, Teagan Moreno and Kennedy Moreno; as well as many nieces and nephews. The Moreno family would like to thank Ernie Tapia of Casa Grande for always helping his Uncle Mike.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Victoria Moreno, sister, Josie Hernandez and brother, Jessie Moreno.
