Lucille Milda Morago, 69, died on January 9, 2018 in Chandler.
Ms. Morago was born on July 3, 1948, to Richard Sr. and Clemencia
Milda in Sacaton. She graduated from Casa Grande High School in 1967 and Lamson Business School. She was retired from the Gila River Indian Community, having served as a Gaming Commissioner, and working over 30 years in Finance. Lucille also volunteered with various boards which
included the county elections program in her precinct. Her interests included dancing waila, attending Phoenix Mercury games, and enjoying George Strait concerts. She will be most remembered by her infectious laugh and for her cooking, feeding family and friends at celebrations.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristina, Johanna and Carole Morago, all of Sacaton; two sisters, Richenda Deeringwater of Mesa and Bernice L. Enos of Sweetwater; and many nieces and nephews.
Wake services begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15 at the District 3 Service Center in Sacaton. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church in Casa Blanca. Burial in Vah-Ki Cemetery. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
