Mildred Hunt

ARIZONA CITY — Mildred W. Hunt, 86, of Arizona City died Sept. 12, 2010 at the VA Hospice in Tucson.
Private services have been scheduled.
Mrs. Hunt was born June 6, 1924 in Parkersburg, W.Va., to Leslie Hall and Myrtle Whitt Hall. She served in the U.S. Navy WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) during World War II. She was married to the late Thomas R. Hunt for 43 years and enjoyed painting, drawing and arts and crafts. Most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Robert Hunt of Florence, S.C.; two daughters, Patricia LaNore of Arizona City and Leslie A. Schroeder of Denison, Texas; two sisters, Pearl Davis of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Betty Windsor of Rea, Mo; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Richard D., Joseph W., Robert F., Vincent and Carl W.; and two sisters, Margaret Lynch and Ruth Ann Hall.
