Mildred Walker

Mildred Walker, 88, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 10, 2013, at home.

A private graveside service is planned in Mountain View Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim Mumme officiating. A celebration of life will be held later.

Ms. Walker was born on May 23, 1925, in Salem, Ore., and was a daughter of Orville and Era Luckey. She was a homemaker and loved gardening, serving the Lord and being involved in Child Evangelist Fellowship, which was her passion. She was artistic and creative and loved doing arts and crafts, oil painting of black-and-white pictures and traveling. She was a winter visitor since 1989.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Cyphers of Arizona City and Carolyn Cyphers of Tillamook, Ore.; a son, Steven Walker of Idaho; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest, Cecil, Kenneth and Norman Luckey, and a sister, Iola Bent.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
