Minnie S. Reyna

COOLIDGE - Minnie S. Reyna, 75, of Mesa died on Sept. 6, 2014, in Mesa.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Adolfo Martinez. Burial will be in Heritage Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Reyna was born on July 27, 1939, in Coolidge and was a daughter of Maria and Manuel Soliz. She was a homemaker and a member of St. James Church, and she and her late husband ran the the Vincent de Paul Society in Coolidge. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed family gatherings.

She also enjoyed dancing and singing and was a part of the Cursillo Movement. She liked movies, playing dominoes and "a little bit of everything."

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Campa of Apache Junction and Susan Reyna of Phoenix; three sons, John Reyna Jr. of Casa Grande, Michael Reyna of Florence and Andrew Reyna of Mesa; a sister, Sally Velasquez of Mesa; two brothers, Manuel and Jimmy Soliz of Coolidge; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a sister, Elena Armenta; and four brothers, Frank, Fred, Mike and Henry Garcia.
