Mitchell "Mitch" Cipriano

Mitchell Martin "Mitch" Cipriano, 50, of Ak-Chin died on Nov. 23, 2017, in Chandler.

Mr. Cipriano was born on Aug. 18, 1967, to Niesto and Lucinda Miguel Cipriano in Sacaton. He grew up in San Lucy Village.

He loved watching and getting involved in sports and coached a softball team named "Dazed and Confuzed." His favorite teams were the Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State Sun Devils. He also loved to dance and listen to music. He was a member of Kualia dance group. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was devoted to his wife and daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon; a daughter, Marissa; two brothers, Clinton and Dennis Cipriano; two sisters, Rechanda and Ella Cipriano; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bennett Cipriano, Gary Cipriano Sr. and Delbert Cipriano; and a sister, Veronica Cipriano.

Wake beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at St. Lucy Catholic Mission near Gila Bend. Graveside service at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, in Ak-Chin Cemetery.
