Monica Catherine Juan

BAPCHULE - Monica Catherine Juan, 66, died on May 31, 2017, in Chandler.

Ms. Juan was born on April 12, 1951, in Sacaton to Joseph and Mary Juan. She moved to Los Angeles in 1970 for nursing school and attended Lamson College in 1974 to become a nursing assistant.

In 1996 she bought an apartment building near Phoenix. She enjoyed shopping at secondhand stores and yard sales. She loved her music and all of her relatives.

Survivors include a son, Erik Conger, and two brothers, Gabriel and Bernard Richard Juan. She was preceded in death by Richard Conger; a brother, Martin Juan; and four sisters, Antoinette Peters, Patricia Jose, Ina Mary Sundust and Inez Peters.

Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Bapchule. Burial in Sacate Cemetery.
