BLACKWATER — Murray Enas, 68, died on Oct. 24, 2011, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 1 Multipurpose Building. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Saturday in North Cemetery.
Mr. Enas was born on Nov. 29, 1942, in Parker and was a son of Carl and Margaret Enas. He was a heavy-equipment operator, rode bulls at rodeos and enjoyed team roping with friends. He liked to joke but was very patriotic, respected and stern about values.
He liked to draw and do crossword puzzles and loved to wear a cowboy hat. He was a big Arizona State fan and liked to go to football games. He always put his kids first.
Survivors include his wife, Elvira; a son, Augustine "Augie" Enas of Blackwater; a daughter, Sylvia Mitchem of Coolidge; two brothers, Eldred and Gordon Enas of Parker; a sister, Geneva Enas of Parker; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Austin Enas, and a sister, Karen Enas.
