SACATON - Natasha Kay Cooper, 29, of Sacaton died on Sept. 22, 2018.
Ms. Cooper was born on Oct. 11, 1988, in Phoenix to Alvin F. Cooper and Melissa K. Lopez-Cooper. She was a loving mother who was outgoing, kind, hardworking and devoted to her family and friends. She was a dedicated worker for the Gila River Indian Community recreation department for three years.
She also was a traditional basket dancer and collector of space memorabilia, and Neil Armstrong was her favorite astronaut. She was a competitive runner and won many medals.
Survivors include her mother; four children, Keanen, Ryland and Ava Cachola and Chad Kisto; and two siblings, Ashley Brooks and Jeremy Cooper. She was preceded in death by her father.
Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at St. Anne Catholic Mission. Burial in Upper Santan Cemetery.
