ELOY - Nellie Villa Carino, 84, of Eloy died on June 17, 2015, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Ms. Carino was born on June 4, 1931, in Tucson and was a daughter of Rafael Carino and Mariadel Refugio M. Villa. She was a school cafeteria worker before retirement and was a hard worker who was devoted to her children, giving them unconditional love. She enjoyed going to church.
Survivors include three sons, Henry and Martin Corona of Eloy and David Carino Corona of California; three daughters, Mara Lopez of California, Rosina Corona and Hope Juarez of Chandler; a brother, Ralph Carino of Eloy; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cresencio Villa Carino, and a sister, Guillermina Carino Hinojosa.
