Nellie Victor

SAN LUCY — Nellie Joyce Victor, 74, of Phoenix died on June 1, 2011, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at San Lucy Catholic Mission, with Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Ajo.
Mrs. Victor was born on June 30, 1936, in Ajo and was a daughter of Jose J. and Isabel Luna. She was a registered nurse for 25 years and volunteered for the Salvation Army and other charitable organizations training for disasters. She also worked at election polling places when needed. She was very loving and caring.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Cipriano of San Lucy and Corine Lopez of Phoenix; a brother, Lester Luna of Gila Bend; a sister, Lorraine Luna of San Lucy; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo T., and a sister, Arella Cipriano.
