Neomi Durant

Neomi Marie Durant, 90, of Casa Grande died on April 15, 2012, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 am. Friday, April 20 at Cole & Maud Gardens Chapel. The funeral will follow at 12pm, with Pastor M.L. Shreffler officiating.
Ms. Durant was born on July 29, 1921, in Bennington, Okla., and was a daughter of W.E. and Emily S. Dixon. She was a school cafeteria worker before retirement. She was a member of Crossroads Church in Casa Grande and was president of Pentecostal Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed cooking and quilting and was good at both.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne Durant of Mineral Wells, Texas, Bill R. Durant of Casa Grande and Bob Durant of Show Low; a daughter, Sharon DeVore of Casa Grande; a brother, Leon Dixon of Casa Grande; eight grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.D. Durant, four brothers, J.T., Lewis, Doyle and Bill Dixon; a sister, Clara Shafer; and two infant sisters.
