SACATON — Nevalynn Marie Brown, 32, of Sacaton died March 6, 2011, at Hohokam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton.
The wake will be from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday at the Lee Miguel residence in Lower Santan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Bapchule by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Bapchule.
Ms. Brown was born on Aug. 5, 1978, in Phoenix. She worked in valet parking for the casino industry, loved her children and was respectful, caring, unselfish and family oriented. She loved to laugh and to make people laugh. A good cook, she was always cooking for people. She enjoyed watching Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals games. She loved listening to music and singing Christmas songs with her children. She loved going to church on Sundays, talking to elders and listening to their stories. She loved her mother and father.
She is survived by her companion, Kyle Miguel of Casa Blanca; two sons, Jaden Stone and Adarius Miguel, both of Casa Blanca; one daughter, Amaira Miguel of Casa Blanca; four brothers, Fabian Brown of Keams Canyon and Darrell Jr., Al and Shane Brown, all of Lone Butte; and eight sisters, Candy Preston of Maricopa, Alfreda Brown of Chandler, Corrina Poola of Second Mesa, Jasmine Poola of Second Mesa, Shanica Poola of Maricopa, Carla Brown of Lone Butte, April Brown of Chandler and Lorie Brown of Mesa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Brown and Darrell Brown Sr.; one aunt, Debra Norris; and one uncle, Claude Kewanyama.
