Nirankjan Baroi

Niranjan K. Baroi, 84, of Casa Grande died on March 25, 2011, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
Mr. Baroi was born on Aug. 29, 1926, in Bangladesh and was a son of Jogendra Baroi and Shukodha Sarkar. He graduated from Walla Walla College and also studied at the University of Illinois. He was a teacher. His favorite hobby was gardening, and he also enjoyed walking with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Tripty; three sons, Dr. Franklin and Douglas Baroi of Casa Grande and Brian Baroi of Sylmar, Calif.; two brothers, Suranjan and Nathaniel Baroi of Loma Linda, Calif.; five sisters, Pushpo Roy of Bangladesh, Kanak Dass of Maryland, Priti Dewri and Shanti Baroya of Loma Linda and Arpona Baroi of Benton Harbor, Mich.; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a stepgreat-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Prem Baroi.
