Norman Antone Wellington

Norman Antone Wellington 60 of Sacaton, AZ died on July 22, 2022. Norman was born to Wilfred and Harriet Wellington on October 13, 1961, in San Francisco, CA.
Norman enjoyed fishing, traveling, and weightlifting. He served a term as a Gila River District 4 Councilman. He was very active and involved in his community. And was often mentoring in the community. Norman retired after 20 years as a Police Officer in the Salt River, Pima, and Maricopa Indian Communities. He cultivated Wellington Ranch as a place where visitors would experience peace and the beauty of our community with gardens, cattle ranching, horses, events and much more.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents Wilford and Harriet Wellington.
Norman is survived by his wife Lorraine Wellington, his children Norman Wellington Jr., Teresa Maynard, Nathan Wellington, Esther Wellington, Samuel Wellington, Ricardo, Amanda Wellman and Steven, his siblings Judith Wellington, Jewel Bishop, and Katherine Livingston. And 17 grandchildren.
