COOLIDGE — Olivia Ione Shocinski, 54, of Coolidge died on Dec. 16, 2012, at Caring House in Sacaton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Coolidge Indian Assembly of God. The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Friday in Blackwater Northside Cemetery, with Pastor John Davis officiating.
Ms. Shocinski was born on June 24, 1958, in Phoenix. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her children and other family members, watching movies, singing and travel. She loved going to church and reading her Bible and was a member of Coolidge Indian Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband, Froylan Hernandez; a son, Christian Hernandez of Chandler; a daughter, Esparanza Hernandez of Sacaton; a brother, Duriate Johns Jr. of Blackwater; and two sisters, Edwina Johns of Blackwater and Irene F. Perez of Coolidge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Duriate E. and Deborah N. Johns; two sisters, Darlene and Julia Johns; and two brothers, Errol and Dale Johns.
