Orland Leonard Horn

May 6, 1933 — March 2, 2021

Orland Leonard Horn, 87, of Arizona City passed away March 2, 2021.
Preceded in death by parents and four brothers, he was one of 5 brothers, 2 sets of fraternal twins, he being one of the sets, born to Henry J. Horn and Elisabeth (Hodel). First born Roland (declared MIA North Korea 1950) was born on the farm in Bonfield, Illinois, Orland & Orville and Arthur & Arnold were born on the farm in Essex, Illinois. Mr Horn joined the Air Force during Korean conflict but only served 3 years. Orland became interested in electronics while serving, took tech classes and headed out to California in 1964 in search of warmer weather. He eventually wound up working for Hewlett-Packard for 34 years prior to retiring. Mr Horn loved motorcycles and his first bike was a Harley he purchased in his late teens and continued until he could no longer ride in 2018. Orland and his family moved to Arizona due to health issues and enjoyed computers and relaxing in his yard watching wildlife.
He is survived by wife, Donna, daughters Linda and Susan Horn, of Arizona City, AZ, and many nieces and nephews in Illinois. No services due to his wishes, but in lieu of flowers donations in Orland's name to charity of their choice is preferred. (food banks, Veterans, church-related things were Dad's personal interests) Orland had attended St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Rocklin, California up until we moved and had not, unfortunately, been able to attend a LCMS church locally.
