Orval Kenneth Hinkle

Orval "Ken" Kenneth Hinkle, 60 years old, was born to John Hinkle Jr. and Mary Ann Hinkle (Genge) on July 17, 1962 in Iligan City, Mindanao, Philippines and passed away on September 7, 2022, in Maricopa, Arizona.  

Ken moved to Maricopa from Arlington Heights, IL., just three short months ago.  At the time of his passing, Ken was surrounded by loving friends Craig and Mary Beth Schickel and their daughter, Katie (sons Donald and Scott) and his loving family.  During the late 1970's and early 1980's Ken served his country while enlisted with the United States Army.  He held a variety of interests, including writing, reading, art and drawing as well as anything technical.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ken is preceded in death by his father, John Hinkle Jr.  He is survived by his mother Mary Ann Genge (husband Gary) of Deer Park, IL. and siblings Gregory (wife Valerie and children Kate and Jack) of Goshen, IN., Deborah Zug (husband John and her children Megan (husband Justin) and Fey) of Lansing, MI., John III (wife Kimberly and step-children Alex and Bodhi) of Buffalo Grove, IL., Carolyn Rutherford (husband Steve and children Andy, Amy, Jenna and Harry) of L'Avenir, QC and his former brother-in-law, Tim O'Donovan.

Family services will be private and held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation in Ken's name to
