Otis Beasley

ELOY - Otis Beasley Sr., 86, died on Dec. 17, 2017, in Phoenix.

Mr. Beasley was born on July 28, 1931, to Emma and Marshall Beasley in Greenville, Mississippi. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved watching all sports.

He worked in agriculture for 50 years and enjoyed it very much. He formerly was a member of the Eloy Elementary School District board.

Survivors include his wife, Ollie Mae; seven daughters and sons, Linda Beasley of Casa Grande, Otis Beasley Jr. of Tolleson, Terry Beasley of Arizona City, Perry Beasley of Avondale, Stevie Beasley of Casa Grande, Sandy Smith of Arizona City and Kent Beasley of Phoenix; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Beasley Jr.; two sisters, Cora Beasley and Ophelia Tucker; a grandchild, Chiffon Falls; and three great-grandchildren, Amare and Adryan Beasley and Perry Beasley III.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. Funeral at 11, with Pastor James Jacob officiating. Graveside service in Eloy Memorial Park.
