July 16, 1952 — February 4, 2019

SACATE - Pancratius "Pan" Harvey, 66, of Sacate died on Feb. 4, 2019.

Mr. Harvey was born on July 16, 1952, to Lewis and Anastasia Harvey. He attended St. Peter Indian Mission School, then Stewart Indian School in Nevada, with a brief stop in Utah as part of a program to get him started in life. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and reading about agriculture. He also liked to work on repurposing materials into something useful for his seedlings. He was a fan of guitar and hard work. During rainy days he would put on his headset and howl with Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix and other rock bands of his youth. He was a member of a small community garden in Casa Blanca and a member of the resident board in District 5 in the early 2000s.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Janice; two sons, Dalton and Corwin Harvey; two daughters, Stacie and Kaylee Harvey; a sister, Rosita; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
