Pat Manning

Patricia Anne “Pat” (Shope) Manning, 60, of Casa Grande died on April 5, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11, with lunch following.
Mrs. Manning was born on June 21, 1950, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, to Russell and Anna Lou Shope. She graduated from Coolidge High School in 1968. She received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in 1972 and went on to receive a master’s degree from Boston University. She was co-owner of Shope’s IGA in Coolidge. She loved her work at the store and her family.
Survivors include her husband, Todd; a stepdaughter, Krista Manning; a stepson, Michael Manning; a brother, Tom Shope; three sisters, Jennifer Brown, Mary Langheinrich and Beth Pineda; and several nieces and nephews.
