Patricia Johnson

BAPCHULE - Patricia Johnson, 74, died on Aug. 26, 2014, at Wellspring Assisted Living.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at St. Peter feast house, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

Ms. Johnson was born on Feb. 1, 1940, in Bapchule and was a daughter of Herbert and Ruth Johnson. She was a certified nursing assistant. Very active at St. Peter’s Church, she volunteered and sang in different groups. She participated in senior center activities in Gila River District 5, was a Cardinals and Diamondbacks fan and loved to collect items from the teams.

She is survived by a cousin, Jennifer Miles of Bapchule. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edger, Michael and Gerald Johnson, and a sister, Lorriane Cassa.
