Patricia "Lynn" Garrett-Barrows

Lynn Garrett-Barrows, 63, of Coolidge passed away peacefully at her home on September 3, 2016. Lynn attended Coolidge schools and graduated from Coolidge High School and

Arizona State University. In her youth, she was a Girl Scout, Rainbow Girl, member of the Coolidge Children’s Choir and Coolidge swim team. She also was a baton twirler with the Coolidge Marching Band. Lynn taught at Coolidge Schools for 21 years. Her hobbies included gardening, poetry and drawing.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Marion Garrett of Coolidge. She is survived by her brother, Jim Garrett, and two sisters, Nancy and Teri Garrett, all of Coolidge; her partner, Felix Molina; daughter, Christine Palacios (Louie); and son,

Michael Barrows. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Louie, Sierra and Monique Palacios and Jacklynn Barrows; and one great-grandchild, Evian.

A memorial service will be held at Community Presbyterian Church in Coolidge on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., Reverend John Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Coolidge Scholarships, 684 W. Northern Ave., Coolidge, AZ 85128. Cole and Maud Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
