Patricia R. Rascon, 63, of Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in her home surrounded by her family after a short illness. Her funeral service will be Saturday,
September 21, 2019, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande, Arizona. The Rosary will begin at 9:30, mass will follow at 10:00. After the mass, there will be a procession to Mountain View Cemetery, followed by a reception at Villago Middle School in the All Purpose Room.
Patricia was born May 27, 1956, and was preceded in death by her father, Pat Louis Strocchia of Chicago, Illinois, and father-in-law, David Rascon, Sr., of Casa Grande, Arizona, to whom she donated a kidney; two men whom she considered to be most influential, and strong supporters in her life.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, David M. Rascon, Jr., as well as her mother, Angela Jean Strocchia, three sisters and three brothers, all of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by her children, Lisa Trombetta, William Kripner, Timothy Kripner, Daniel Kripner, all of Tucson, Arizona, as well as David Fabian Rascon of Colorado Spring, Colorado, Ashley Rascon and Brittnee Rascon, both of Palmdale, California. Patricia was also blessed with 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
Patricia was a devoted nurse in the Memory Care Unit at the Caring House in Sacaton, Arizona, where she was much loved by her patients, as well as staff. Patricia demonstrated the love of Christ to her family, children and anyone who happened to cross her path. Patricia was also devoted to her church, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, which she attended faithfully.
Patricia most enjoyed spending time with her husband, simply enjoying a walk or a cup of coffee. If you asked Patricia what would count as one of the greatest moments in her life, it would be witnessing the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series, and her husband finally having to get her the jersey he had promised her 27 years before, "if they ever win the World Series." Patricia had the last laugh, for sure.
"My wife, you were my everyday life, and you will be my everyday loss."
